Go to IT portal → My Bank Account → Pre-validate your bank account with IFSC code, account number, PAN, Aadhar. Refund goes only to pre-validated account.
Mandatory since 2023. Link PAN-Aadhar at incometax.gov.in. If not linked, ITR is treated as invalid — no refund. Go to e-Filing → Link Aadhar.
Check outstanding demands at IT portal. If old demand exists, refund is automatically adjusted. You may need to file a rectification request or response to demand.
CA identifies all your eligible deductions — 80C, HRA, home loan, 80D — to maximize your refund. File before July 31.
